Thanks for the thoughts! I noticed that Jira used ordered string to store the position data. I think its fairly similar with the solution you showed us.

When you mentioned, set between (10 - 0) / 2 = 5, where did the 10 and 0 came from? I assume the previously mentioned A = "0" and B = "1" is their position?
